LOVE THIS BOOK.
(this was supposed to be at the bottom of this post, but couldnt
figure out how to get it down there)

SO. I got a wild hair to go to IKEA Monday. Despite crummy weather, one phone call was made to Ashely and we were on the road to Ann Arbor. IKEA's website lied to me. When I got there and made a bee-line for the textiles, it was sooo completely NOT what was represented on the
site. They took a number of different fabric patterns and made it all look like one kind of fabric - which made it look bonkers and would've totally been up my alley, style-wise. Woulda looked super cool in the spare bedroom that's been re-done.
If you go to the link, can you see how I would've made that assumption?

GEEZ.
Man, it seems like with everything nowadays, there's always some kind of hitch, glitch, obstacle, shitty service, sub-par quality, etc etc.
Rant over. For now.

Oh. One more thing.

Am obsessed with a NewLook handbag pattern.
Sewing glue works REALLY well for cheating sewing.
I can't remember the sewing terms and techniques whatsoever,
seeings how I haven't sewn with a machine in over 25 years.
Don't have a decent machine, either. (have a little toy one, but it barely works. no zig-zag either, which is quite unhelpful)
Maybe can dust off the old Singer and fizzgure out what's wrong
wif it.

Now you have the right idea. Bright colors and much easier to read text. Sounds like you are really turning back the calendar with your decorating. The place we are looking at up here on the mountain has the original early 70's decor with Harvest Gold everywhere and the furniture and swag lamp from hell.....
